The conference is devoted to the most urgent issue of the professional theatrical environment in 2020 – the issue of organization of large projects during the period of severe restrictions. Performance-makers, organizers and participants of major international theatre festivals will discuss which changes have occurred within the globally complicated period, and how to work under new circumstances. The pandemic – is it a crisis or development for the theatre world? The ways of problem-solving, new shapes and new theatre product, e-commerce are the issues that will be debated at the conference.

The event will occur in the historically important for the Russian theatre location – the building of the Theatre museum, which was designated by Carlo Rossi for the Directorate of the Imperial theatres and opened for general public in 1921.

The conference with Zoom-participation of the representatives of the international theatre community will be streamed on the “Saint Petersburg theatre seasons’” web site, the festival’s Facebook page, and also on the YouTube. Viewers are welcomed to ask their questions to the conference’s participants via commentary section.

  • Svetlana Yanchek – the CEO of the “ART-FORTIUS” production theatre agency, CEO of the “Golden Mask in Estonia” festival (Tallinn, Estonia);
  • Sergey Shub – the CEO of the “Baltiyskiy Dom” (“Baltic House”) theatre-festival (Saint Petersburg, Russia);
  • Nataliya Metelitsa – an honorary worker of culture of the Russian Federation, theatre expert, curator, the CEO of the Saint Petersburg Museum of theatre and musical art, artistic manager of the “Diaghilev. Postscript” festival;
  • Viktor Minkov – the producer, director-stage manager of the “Priut komedianta” (“Comedian’s shelter”) Theatre, artistic manager of the “Saint Petersburg Theatre Seasons” festival (Saint Petersburg, Russia);
